The Fight Network is reporting that, according to popular UFC welterweight Karo Parisyan, the UFC is currently negotiating with Pride star Hayato “Mach” Sakurai to fight Parisyan at UFC 78 on November 17 in Newark, NJ.
Ryo Chonan's name is also flying around the rumor mill for the UFC 78 card (but not as an opponent for Parisyan). Chonan is well-known by many for his spectacular flying scissors submission against current UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva.
